Third Life Books
Third Life Books is the brainchild of New York Times Bestselling author, Michael A. Stackpole (Noble Charron), and motivational speaker Kat Klaybourne (Kat Alderson). Kat found Second Life and immediately dragged Mike in world. Within two weeks, they’d created their first book, opened their first store, and very quickly realized Second Life could be even more than they had first imagined. Within a month of coming in world they opened their first store in Beraudes and today the empire covers a private island – Wind River Territory.
Third Life Books is Second Life’s premier publisher of science fiction, fantasy, mystery, instructional and erotic books. The line boasts over a dozen titles, including a variety of works by Michael A. Stackpole and the bestselling Cybersex Bible series by Julien Morane. TLB’s presence is not limited to publishing books, however. TLB offers classes in writing and brings in guest authors for readers, question and answer sessions and even more classes to aid writers of any skill level in reaching their dreams.
You can meet author Michael A. Stackpole during his office hours on Wednesday Nights at 6 pm SLT each week. The free-form chat session covers everything from common problems for new writers, publishing, e-publishing, marketing, Mike’s career, and more. Questions are welcome. Courtesy is expected.
Third Life Books is also the proud home of the Fantasy and Science Fiction Writers’ Workshop. It’s open to authors of all levels. The group meets on Monday evenings at 6 pm SLT and alternates between critiquing sessions and social discussions on various aspects of the writing life. The group, which is facilitiated by Graegor Aeon and Luta Lassard, also offers classes on a variety of subjects.
